Hosting LOVE INBOUND was a pretty nerve-wracking experience for the entire team. While it went down a massive success, it’s never easy being the first one on stage in front of a room full of inbound marketing enthusiasts you’ve never seen or met.
That’s the role Digital 22 Director Mark Byrne had when warming up the crowd for the rest of the day.
The Key Takeaways
To go along with the marketing, data, HubSpot, video and other talks, Mark’s key focus was on getting out of your comfort zone.
He touched on the fact that change is hard - sharing a defining moment in his life which changed his mentality towards fear. It’s that fear which sometimes stops people from putting their hand up to answer a question, turning up to an event like LOVE INBOUND in the first place or wanting to speak on stage.
Mark discussed how he once spent £5,000 on a ticket to a Tony Robbins event, featuring an arrow with a metal tip and an Adam’s apple. We’ll let you put 2+2 together - or just listen to what he had to say in the video above.
