Yesterday at SMX Advanced Matt Cutts said Google's ad-to-content ratio on search result pages would be safe from penalty. I quickly checked a local search result to find around a 80/20 split (the adverts being 80!) as you can see below. Personally I don't think this is a great example to follow and I am pretty sure it is over the accepted level. What do you think?

*Update* - Matt Cutts himself took the time to reply to my Tweet on the subject. The reply I got was:

His link points to a conversation between himself and Barry Schwartz, it would seem from the thread that the comment Matt made was a little misunderstood!
