2 mins read

On the 27th of February 2019, we hosted LOVE INBOUND 2019 at Holmes Mill, Clitheroe. The event gave lovers of inbound marketing the chance to hear from leading experts and network with others working in the industry.

UPDATE TO THIS POST: Since the time of recording the event and publishing this round-up, Digital 22 has become Avidly HubSpot Solutions. LOVE INBOUND is still happening and is bigger than ever.

We had some amazing feedback from attendees and speakers, so we’ve wasted no time in thinking about making the next edition of LOVE INBOUND even better than the first. Here’s what you missed if you couldn’t make it and why it’s a marketing conference you really need to attend.

Previous events...

At LOVE INBOUND 2019, we heard from some of the industry’s leading voices. For example, Terrance Kwok from Vidyard talked about the importance of video and where marketers should be using it.

And we couldn’t really host an inbound marketing event without inviting HubSpot. We heard from Principal II Channel Consultant Robbie McFarlane who gave insight into the inbound marketing Flywheel that HubSpot unveiled at their own marketing conference - INBOUND - in Boston last year

At LOVE INBOUND 2020, we had a couple more big names join us from HubSpot. Luke Summerfield, the brains behind the HubSpot CMS and Growth-Driven Design methodology talked all about how to build peak-performing websites. At the same event, then-VP of Marketing at HubSpot, Meghan Keaney Anderson, showed us how to evolve your content strategy.

And, last year, it was another stellar lineup with talks from the likes of Kirsty Hulse who showed marketers how to increase their confidence and be brave.

A talk that went down very well with attendees.

Here are just some of the comments we received.

“Informative and a must for next year. Took away multiple things to put in practice for the year.”

“Fantastic, informative and fun event which really inspired us to make positive digital changes to our processes for the future. Highly recommend!”

“The quality of speakers was above and beyond my expectations. Each one gave at least one takeaway I was eager to start implementing into our own marketing strategy."

Why you should attend LOVE INBOUND 2023

To empower people in your business

This year's theme is empowering people in your business.

From marketing to sales and everything in between, if your people are more empowered, then they're more able to enjoy what they do and more able to bring results.

Everybody wins in this scenario.

So that's what this year's LOVE INBOUND event will be helping you to do.

You'll be able to hear from Naila Basit and Melanie Bohulu from HubSpot. The Senior Marketing Manager for UK&I and an actual Inbound Professor, respectively, will be explaining how HubSpot empowers its people both holistically as a business and more practically as a tool.

The networking

The day begins with a breakfast networking session that everyone takes part in. It’s an opportunity to chat with the speakers and other attendees about all things inbound. You never know who you’ll strike up a conversation with over a brew and bacon butty.

You’ll have another chance to introduce yourself to new people over the delicious lunch that’s provided.

The price of the ticket

To hear from leading industry speakers at an event like this, you might be worried about the cost of the ticket. We’re thrilled to be able to offer tickets to our event completely free of charge.

You’ll also receive a free breakfast, lunch and drinks once the event has concluded. It’ll be difficult to find the same at any other marketing conference.

The burgers and free bar

Did we mention the delicious food and drinks that are available at the event? It’s hosted at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe - a fantastic beer and food hall that provides a delicious selection of foods that cater to all dietary requirements. Last year, we enjoyed a wonderful buffet that had something for everyone.
